Applying It to Your Organization
Apply It to Your Organization
Participants leave with more than learning — they leave with a practical roadmap for strengthening Internal Communication within their own organization.
Day three is not taught from the front. Each participant works on their own function with both trainers in the room: scoring where it sits today against the maturity model from day one, testing its mandate and operating model against how the organization actually works, and choosing the two or three priorities worth moving first. You leave with that roadmap written down — what changes, in what order, who owns it, and how you will know it worked.
What Day 3 covers — a working day on the participant’s own organization.
- Assess the current state of the IC function
- Identify strengths, gaps, and development priorities
- Review role, mandate, stakeholders, and ways of working
- Connect business priorities with communication priorities
- Review communication approaches and experiences
- Identify meaningful KPIs and measures
- Build a practical development roadmap

Questions.
We already have an internal communication function. Is this program suitable for us?
Yes — day one is built around assessing an existing function, so experienced teams use it to benchmark what they already have and find the gaps worth closing next.
I’m relatively new to internal communication. Is the program too advanced?
No. The diagnostic approach works as a structured introduction to how a function should operate, even without years of experience behind it.
Can I attend only the first two days?
Yes — the Core Program covers days one and two. Day three is an optional, organization-specific working day for those who want to apply the material directly.
What happens on day three?
It is a working day on your own organization: applying the assessment and strategy tools from days one and two to build your own development roadmap, with the trainers in the room.
